For those of you who don’t understand why the ending of Mass Effect 3 is bad.
A lot of my friends and follows (who follow me for other than ME) are wondering why I care so much about an ending of a videogame. Or they think the ending is well written. Everyone has either read Harry Potter and/or watched the movies by now, right?
Imagine Harry Potter ended like this: When Harry died before killing Voldemort he went to this random place he’s never been before, meets a character he’s never met before, and this character tells him complete bullshit that Harry knows makes absolutely no sense. “I created wizards like Voldemort to keep wizards from killing themselves and muggles. The only way to stop him is by killing all wizards, synthesize wizard DNA with muggle DNA, or allow yourself to control all wizards. Oh, and no matter what you choose all magical creatures and items will cease to exist.”
Everything that was canon in Harry Potter universe would go down the shitter in the last 10 minutes, or pages respectively.
Then, imagine J.K. Rowling was telling us “well, it makes sense if you think about it! Harry was dreaming the whole time! But you don’t get to see what happens after that. Well, I wrote this new book. Buy it. Why you mad?”
Wouldn’t you be angry?
